The Wall St. Journal journal turned me on to this device, which allows you to see how much power your electronic gear draws. It is called the Kill-a-watt device, from P3 International (NFI). You can save some cash (and the planet, a little) by using your electronic gear less or unplugging them while you are not using them.
Next time I get paid I will get one and report back on watt (!!) I find out.
